A peroxide containing dye to lighten it might be ok if. This could include pond-green or brittle hair. I have heard oil pulling to soften henna color but I have no idea if it will work with that green.

Wait at least one week in between lightening sessions so hair can fully develop in between each one. I hadnt hennad my hair for several months about four inches but I knew that henna was widely regarded as permanent and impossible or even dangerous to dye over. I think my hair has grown out since Ive last hennad and now I want platinum hair.
